"I teach a great deal through dreaming. Most tantric mystics do, since we're really dreamers, we're poets. So I visit people constantly in dreams, and explain things to them in dreams that I couldn't explain in this world because in this world everybody's so busy measuring by the angstrom of the body. But in the dream worlds, you're used to that. Then I come and show you interesting things. You won't remember when you wake up. How could you? The physical mind can't contain the things. But your inner being knows, remember, you're not just the physical mind that measures by the body. You're eternity."

Sometimes I am in the stream, flowing with the happy awareness of white lines of light. Sometimes the world sparkles and my smile reflects all those pieces of light. Some Times.

Sometimes I swim up stream, like a salmon struggling to spawn, and die. Lately that up stream swim has been against some very strong currents. The water has been murky, dark, too deep for much light to penetrate.

The light finally began to dissipate the deep darkness. It began with a dream. Not my dream. Nope. Not this time.

I opened an email from a high school friend. She is a flight attendant for United, and I see her every 5 to 10 years. I saw her about 6 months ago, and I gave her a copy of my book, Awake in the Dream. After she read the book she wrote, and had some interesting comments and questions. Yesterday, in her email she wrote to me about a dream she had last week.

She said that it was a very vivid dream. She saw me walking along the beach, and walking just steps behind me there was a man. He was tall and svelt, and he had curly brown, or sandy blond hair. She said that while we looked liked we were separate, this man and I, we were not. There was really no difference between us, we were the same.

There is no doubt in my mind that this person walking behind me was Rama. I found it fascinating that the dreamplane reached out to me through the dream of an old friend.

After reading her email, and later, talking to a very close spiritual sister, I have felt the light again, sparkle by little sparkle. The water is more filtered with light, as are my own dreams.

I did have a dream with Rama a few nights ago, and I wish I could tell you what he said, and boy did he have a LOT to say.

I sat with a small group of students. I sat in the front row on the right end, as I faced Rama. I remember that he looked directly into my eyes as he spoke. I remember the intensity of what he said, and the intensity of the energy that came through his eyes, but I can pull back no words, or content. There was one sentence in particular, that I thought I could hold onto, and bring back into consciousness-but I didn't.

If you have been fighting the dark fight back up stream, I just want you to know that you will find sparkles of light filter through, to you. You don't have to do anything in particular, just know that the magic will touch you, surprise you, remind you that you are eternity.
